What Do We Teach?
We teach whatever our students need. The tutor with the best background for your child is the one we will pair with you.
We teach many subjects in the four major content areas of the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum standards. The Voluntary State Curriculum defines what students should know and be able to do at each grade level Pre-K through 8 in Mathematics, Reading/English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. While we assist students in their regular work, Maryland content standards help us identify each pupil's strengths and weaknesses so that we can address all challenges as part of our regular tutoring time.
By adhering to Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum standards, we can help your student meet and surpass assessments used in Maryland schools, as well as prepare them for TAG, magnet, and college preparatory programs.

What Else Do We Offer?
In the Greater Washington, DC area, many of our families are international. We tutor many first generation Americans. We also have a large number of gifted students who want to excell in TAG, gifted, and AP classes. Naturally, we have many tutors to help students challenged by math, algebra, geometry, dyslexia, and visual and audial impairments.
Parents look to private teachers to prepare their children in all facets academically, including college entrance exams such as the SAT and ACT. One out of eight students who graduate in Prince George's County from high school obtain the GED/Diploma (General Educational Development). Our students range in age from 18 to 81 and are tutored for this test as well.
